Cookie policy.
We keep browser storage limited and make analytics optional. Here is what these technologies do and how you can control them.

Cookies and similar technologies
A cookie is a small value stored by a website in your browser. Local storage is another browser feature that keeps a value on your device without automatically sending it with every request. Both can remember preferences. Temporary page memory holds information only while a page is running; it is not a cookie or a saved account.
What ToolTulip stores
- Your analytics choice: local storage key
tooltulip.analytics-consent.v1remembers accepted or rejected. It is used to respect your choice, not to identify you across sites. It remains until you change the choice or clear this site's browser data. - Optional Google Analytics cookies: after acceptance, Google Analytics 4 may set
_gaand_ga_X2VYTSRT99to recognize visits and sessions. They are configured for this hostname and an expiry of 180 days, which may be renewed by later accepted visits. - Tool inputs: we do not save tool text or uploaded files in cookies or local storage. The tools hold working data in browser memory. Downloads and clipboard actions occur only when you choose them.
Analytics stays off until you accept
We use a basic consent approach: the Google tag does not load and analytics requests and cookies are not created before acceptance or after rejection. Advertising storage and advertising personalization stay denied. Page measurements exclude query strings, fragments, tool text, filenames, files, contact messages and newsletter addresses.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use Cookie settings at any time, then choose Reject analytics to stop tracking. We remove the analytics document and clear accessible Google Analytics cookies. Requests already sent cannot be recalled. Your rejected choice is remembered so analytics stays off on later visits.
You can also block cookies or clear site data in your browser. Clearing local storage removes the saved choice, so the consent bar will appear again and analytics will stay off until accepted. Privacy modes and browser restrictions can affect how preferences are saved; storage errors are shown rather than treated as successful saves.
Contact forms and other providers
The Contact us form makes no request to its provider before submission. After you choose to send, you leave ToolTulip for FormSubmit, which handles CAPTCHA and email delivery. Its pages and CAPTCHA provider may use their own cookies or storage under their own policies. This does not grant ToolTulip analytics consent. A configured newsletter signup likewise submits to its separate provider.
Read FormSubmit's privacy policy and Google's privacy policy for their processing. ToolTulip's Privacy policy explains contact data and other site processing.
