Convert to

Made for WebP files. Makes JPG files that almost any app accepts. Other supported files you add are converted too.

JPG has no transparency: transparent areas are filled with the background colour. Quality controls size and detail.

Pixel dimensions stay the same.

How to convert images

  1. Choose or drag in WebP, PNG or JPG images.
  2. Pick a preset such as WebP to JPG, or set the output format yourself.
  3. Press Convert, then download files or a ZIP.

Good to know

JPG cannot store transparency, so a background colour is used. PNG is lossless but often larger. Converting to the same format only re-encodes the image. Pixel dimensions are never changed.

Frequently asked questions

Are my images uploaded?

No. Your images are processed in your browser and are not uploaded. Nothing is saved after you close or reload the page.

How do I convert WebP to JPG?

Choose your WebP files, keep the WebP to JPG preset selected and press Convert. Download each JPG or all of them as a ZIP. Transparent areas are filled with the background colour you choose, white by default.

Which formats are supported?

JPG, PNG and still WebP in, and JPG, PNG or WebP out, up to 20 images, 20.97 MB each, 83.89 MB combined and 25 megapixels per image. Animated PNG and WebP, GIF, SVG, HEIC, AVIF and PDF files are rejected with a message.

Will converting make files smaller or restore quality?

Not necessarily. Sizes are shown as actually produced and can be larger. Converting a JPG to PNG cannot bring back detail that JPG compression already removed.

What happens to metadata and colour profiles?

Images are re-encoded by your browser. Orientation is applied to the pixels once, and location and camera metadata are not copied. Colour profiles and HDR information may not survive, so this is not for archival masters.

Can I resize images here?

No. Pixel dimensions are kept; resizing is not part of this tool.
