How to use Fuel Cost Calculator
Enter one-leg distance, trip direction, vehicle efficiency and a price in its own fuel unit. Unit switches convert valid physical values; partial invalid drafts are not reinterpreted. Optional expenses are for the complete trip. Review the exact traveller allocations in the JSON report.
Worked example
200 km at 6 L/100 km and 2 per litre uses 12 litres and costs 24.00. Round-trip uses 24 litres and costs 48.00; whole-trip parking of 10 makes 58.00, not 68.00.
Rules and limits
Complete-trip distance up to 100000 km. Efficiency >0 through 1000 in the selected unit; fuel price 0-10000 per selected unit. Up to 10 expenses of 0-1000000 each (two decimals), 1-1000 travellers, total money at most 1000000000. Mile = 1.609344 km; US gallon = 3.785411784 L; Imperial gallon = 4.54609 L. Fuel cost rounds once half-up to cents before extras and sharing. No route lookup, current fuel pricing or performance guarantee.
